Sesi Anumundu and Lati Adekoya had a long friendship that began in childhood until 15 October, 2013 when they fell apart. Reason: one was having an illicit affair with the girlfriend of the other.



An auto mechanic, Sesi Anumundu, was reported to have been stabbed several times on the head by his friend during a scuffle over a woman. Anumundu, a native of Delta State is said to be recuperating in an undisclosed clinic in Lagos. The 37-year-old was said to have engaged his childhood friend, Lati Adekoya, in a fierce fight over the latter’s lover, Fortune. The bloody event occurred on Tuesday, October 15, 2013.

Both Anumundu and Adekoya had reportedly been friends since their early childhood days at Adamasingba, Ibadan, Oyo State. When both came out of the secondary school, Anumundu relocated to Ibeshe, Lagos State with his uncle while Adekoya remained at Ibadan.

Chizoba Michael  Nwobodo’s inordinate ambition to get rich quick has left two families in deep sorrow and anguish. The 24-yr-old  gruesomely murdered two young boys and harvested their vital organs for money making rituals.
He’s a kidnapper, armed robber and ritual killer who hails from  Umualaguroyi Uhueze Nenwe village in Aninri West Local Government Area of  Enugu State.  He committed the heinous crimes between August and October this year.

In the first incident, which occurred in Ohuhu, Abia State on August 7, 2013, he abducted Emmanuel Nwobodo, the nine-year-old son of his uncle, Nnamdi Nwobodo, immediately the boy returned from school at 4.00pm on that fateful day. He took the boy into a nearby bush, beheaded him and proceeded to harvest his  kidneys, lungs, heart and genitals. Done with the horrible act, he calmly dumped the boy’s dismembered body on the bank of a nearby river.
When evening came and the boy had still not returned from school, the parents started searching for him. Chizoba even joined in the search for the unfortunate  boy. When he could not be found, his parents reported the matter to the police at Isikwuato Police Station, Abia State.

Saka: Yes. It was after my master’s degree programme and there was no money. I was just an average artiste, struggling to survive, but the lady did not see the future. I remember telling her that I was ready for marriage. Her reply was that I was not ready because I did not have a car. I told her that with my job, I should be able to get a very comfortable car within a year. She insisted that one car would not be sufficient since she was going to be pregnant one day. That was when I knew that in order to get married to her; I had to have two cars first

For these set of worshippers, First Fridays of the month offers an opportunity for them to come together at The Holy Ghost Adoration Ground which is located at Uke town in Anambra State to cry to heaven for their various needs and to make supplication as the case may be and yesterday night was not an exception

The announcement by the Priest In Charge, Reverend Obimma that the Governor Of The State was around to address the congregation set the tone for the night, the crowd initially protested that their adoration ground is not a political rally ground and so Peter Obi does not have any locus to address them but the charismatic priest was able to calm them down and pleaded with the   worshippers          to hear the Governor out since he is a first time visitor.

Amaechi dances at First Lady’s mother’s funeral in Rivers

Rivers State Governor, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, dazzled the crowd at the Okrika National Field, venue of the well-attended funeral service of President Goodluck Jonathan’s mother-in-law, Madam Charity Fyneface Oba.

Amaechi gyrated happily, danced, sang and clapped to a Christian praise and worship song rendered in Igbo language to the admiration of both high and low at the occasion. Women clad in ceremonial uniforms joined the fun and ‘mobbed’ Governor Amaechi during his sonorous rendition of the Christian hymn.









Many Rivers indigenes ascribed their governor’s soul-lifting performance to a secret peace meeting he had with President Jonathan and the Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson, on Thursday.

HIV WAHALA: Bride-to-be tests HIV positive, commits suicide in Benue

Pandemonium broke out in Usar community of Kwande local government area of Benue State recently when a lady allegedly committed suicide few days to her wedding.
It was learnt that the deceased simply identified as Miss Joy Ngufan Iorzaa, was engaged to one Aondover Auva Shande of the same community and both were scheduled to get married before the unfortunate incident occurred.

It was gathered that the late Iorzaa was found dead, hanging on a tree.
However, more trouble started when the family of the deceased and some members of the community demanded immediate explanation from her fiancé, Shande.

After the corpse had been discovered, it was gathered that Iorzaa must have committed suicide after medical autopsy proved that both she and Shande had tested positive to a HIV/AIDS test.
The police public relations officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Daniel Ezeala, who confirmed the incident yesterday, said that, “no arrest has been made but the matter is with the Command and investigation into the case is on-going”

10-year-old Boy Jumps To His Death From 30 Storey Building After His Teacher Ordered Him To!

A 10-year-old Chinese boy jumped 30 floors to his death after failing to write a self-criticism letter demanded by his teacher. The fifth-grade primary school student had been ordered to write a 1,000-character apology by his teacher for talking in class but he refused.

The educator allegedly told him to jump out of a building after he failed to complete the task, a report quoted relatives and the neighbor as saying.


"Teacher, I can't do it," was found written in one of his textbooks, CNR said. "I flinched several times when I tried to jump from the building."

The child smashed into a parked car beneath the flat where his family live. His furious relatives posted a banner outside the school in the southwestern city of Chengdu reading: "The teacher forced our kid to jump off the building".

The police investigation is still under way. Strict discipline is an essential part of China's education system and culture, and tradition demands deference to authority, putting children under pressure to obey instructions.

The boy's school said today on its verified account on Sina Weibo, a Chinese equivalent of Twitter, that the child and some of his classmates had been ordered to write reviews of their behavior after they disturbed a speaking competition. He died "by accident", it said.

A teenage girl and 300 level student of pharmacy has recently come to spotlight of honor following her exemplary show of humanity when she chose to teach as a volunteer teacher at a school for orphans and physically challenged in Maiduguri Borno state.

Leadership discovered Rather than join her teenage female friends in unproductive ventures that may not benefit her positively, Falmata Dulumi, 19, said the she rather use her time to teach deprived children while the strike embarked by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) lasts.

“I have a soft spot and love for deprived and underprivileged children”, Falamata said. “Since I don’t have money or means to assist them I always look out for an opportunity to do something in kind to assist them once in a while. And the ASUU strike, as bad as it has been, fortunately gave me an opportunity and I grabbed it while it lasts”.

Falmata, a very quiet and soft-spoken lady, said she had approached the management of the Future Prowess Islamic Foundation School located in Maiduguri, a Maiduguri based faith-base that gives free education to orphans, and tendered her application to be a teacher without pay. And after assessing her qualifications she got the job.

Man Turns Daughter To Sex Slave For 5 Yrs

A 50-year old man, Wale Akanusi, who turned his daughter to a sex slave for five years, was arraigned Thursday before an Apapa Magistrates’ Court in Lagos, southwest Nigeria.
The man allegedly began to defile his daughter, who is now 17 years old, when she was 12 years old, in their Ojo home in Lagos.


The victim (name withheld) herself revealed how her father turned her into a sex slave for five years.
She revealed that her father  impregnated her three times and aborted the pregnancies to cover up his act.

Unbelievable: Ex-Local Government Boss Killed By Homosexual Partner

The Katsina State Police Command has confirmed that the former chairman of Ingawa local government area of the state, late Samaila Magaji, was murdered by his estranged homosexual partner, 17-year-old Abba Lawal, a native of Daura.


Magaji, it will be recalled, was gruesomely murdered in his residence at the Barhim Quarters, Katsina, recently. However, the police moved swiftly, arresting the suspect who was said to be with the deceased at the time of the murder.

Addressing the press yesterday, the state commissioner of police Muhammad Hurdi said the suspect had confessed to killing Magaji, whom he said was his “boyfriend”.
