New Mysterious Healing River Discovered In Kebbi State Pulls Crowd To The Village

Not The Actual River

A second healing river has been discovered in Unguwar Yari village in Jega Local Government Area of Kebbi and according to NAN, the village is right now witnessing an influx of people, from all walks of life, seeking cure to their ailments with the use of the underground water believed to have “healing powers’’.

The water was reportedly discovered by a grandmother who was in search of medicinal herbs for her sick grandchild. The news of the healing water spread when the woman revealed that on drinking from the underground water, her grandchild was healed instantly.

Many people from all walks of life have flooded the village in search of healing through drinking and bathing
with the water. 40 to 50 vehicles now convey people to the village on a daily basis with many testifying that indeed they have been healed.

Man Commits Suicide Over Failed Marriage Bid

The deceased has been buried according to Islamic injunction
A 24-year-old man, Abubakar Ahmed, was on Saturday found hanging on a tree in Ganten-Tudu in Kaoje Development Area of Kebbi State.

A resident of the area, Tukur Mohammed, said in Birnin Kebbi that the deceased was believed to have committed suicide over a failed marriage bid.

A woman in Lagos has pleaded with a Customary Court in the Ejigbo area to dissolve her 15 year marriage.
Glory Ojuala has told the court that her husband, Alex, drugged her 2 days after she delivered a baby so that he could  have a long bout of sexual intercourse with her.

The 30-year-old woman said her husband put the drug in a bottle of soft drink which he offered her.

The Tribune reports:

A mother of three, Glory claimed that two days after she was delivered of a baby, her husband started pestering her for sex in the presence of her mother, who was on a visit. She told the court that she denied her husband sex because she was still recovering from the pains of childbirth and was also breast feeding.
