Woman is killed and man loses both legs after they are hit by a train as they have sex on the tracks

A thrill-seeking Ukrainian couple have met a tragic end after they stopped on their way home to have sex on train tracks and were hit by a locomotive.
The '30-something' woman was killed by the train in the city of Zaporozhye on Saturday morning.
Her 41-year-old male companion lost both legs, but survived to tell the tale.

 

The Ukrainian Interior Ministry, which announced the Saturday morning accident, said the couple 'failed to overcome their natural passion when walking home.'
The pair, officials said, 'wanted to experience an extreme sensation near the railroad tracks.
Russia's RIA Novosti news agency reported that the couple could not escape in time as the train approached.
Yahoo!7 reports that they couple were drunk at the time.
They were returning home from a party at a friend's house when they decided to stop on the tracks.
Zaporozhye is the sixth-largest city in Ukraine and has a population of more than 770,000.
