Police, armed robbers exchange heavy fire in Ikorodu Lagos

Armed robbers and policemen are presently engaged in heavy shooting following a robbery attack on a Zenith Bank located in Ikorodu near Dangote Factory.

A tweet by the police and citizen reporters confirmed the report, although we are yet to confirm the report. The police has however warned residents around the area to steer clear the ongoing fire exchange. “Our officers are responding to armed robbery at #Ogolonto, Ikorodu Lagos. Citizens are advised to stay off vicinity.”

UPDATE: New reports are saying that they have now escaped through ferry, and apparently headed for Iyana Oworo
