President Goodluck Jonathan paid a condolence visit to TB Joshua’s Synagogue Church of All Nations today to commiserate with the latter over the collapse of a building on his premises.
The guest house collapsed on September 12 and has claimed 86 lives according to reports.
President Jonathan was shown the site of the collapse even as he promised to investigate the cause of the incident.

Imagine! Nigeria! May God save us from the ineptitude and miracle-seeking attitudes of our leaders. I said it that the President is a secret member of SCOAN. See him smiling, shaking hands, "paying condolence visit"... seriously SMH!!! we have missed it! How many sites of collapsed buildings has he visited? He could visit SCOAN H/qtrs in a matter of days but is unable to visit Chibok after the kidnap of 200 girls. Our leaders gather and patronise "prayer marabouts, spiritual leaders, native doctors" around them all for power and protection and play openly to the gallery as true Christians. God is watching them.
ReplyDeleteShouldn't the TBJ of a man be cooling his feet in a detention facility for neglecting safety standards thereby endangering the lives of people?!! What a slap to our collective sensibility.
Nigeria, a corrupt government that is foot-dragging in fighting crime and fraud but has spent so much in globe-trotting & image laundering.
It is funny how people will blindly defend the corruption & high-handednes that has characterised Nigeria because of religion and party affiliations.
My prayers wt u MOG!
ReplyDeleteWe hv to be our brothers keepers both in good n bad times..not just only seeking miracles..this is the best time to pray n stand by a true friend or not! It can happen to any one..disaster doesn't look face! What u do for others comes back to u when it hits u!! Even if u can't pray wt the heartbroken at the time of their need don't add to their pains!!
