This is following the shocking revelation that she filed for divorce in London this week. Anita Oyakhilome filed for divorce on the grounds of 'unreasonable behaviour' and 'adultery' on the part of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.

Members of the church in the UK had shown concern over Pastor Anita’s absence from the church, in which she officiates, since November 2013. This followed some comments credited to Pastor Chris on the ongoing crisis in his marriage.

Recent comments on the Facebook Page set up by those concerned members of the Christ Embassy church show a sharp division over the couple's split.

Emmanuel Emenike and the Enugu State Government are in dispute over 13 plots of land worth N30m (about $180,000), which the Super Eagles forward bought to build a sports academy in the state.

The Fenerbache star purchased the property after the World Cup in Brazil through a special assistant to the Enugu state governor, Frank Ndubuisi Ugwunweze, but now the striker is unhappy that soldiers have invaded the property and prevented construction work on the site. “I worked hard to make my money, I know what I pass through on the pitch before I earn my living and it will be unfair if what I’m hearing about my land in Enugu state is true,” he told AfricanFootball.com.

Fifty people in Port Harcourt have been identified as Ebola risks, Rivers state commissioner for health Dr. Tamunoiyoriari Parker, said on Sunday.

According to the commissioner, who was briefing journalists on developments on the virus, the state’s contact tracing team had identified a total of 178 people who had contact with Dr. Iyke Enemuo, the medic who died after treating an Ebola patient.

Parker said while the 50 had “high-risk exposure” to the virus, three persons had been moved to the Isolation centre in Eduoha, while late Enemuo’s wife who was earlier moved to Lagos is stable and responding to treatment.

A student of the Federal Polytechnic Nekede, one Vivian Iwuji who gave birth to a baby boy on August 2, 2014 has with the assistance of her boyfriend, one Obinna Ugochukwu sold the baby for the sum of N620,000.

However, luck ran out on them as the buyer, one Ehegalara Edwin was arrested by the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit of the Imo State Police Command, Owerri and the baby rescued.

Emeka Onwugbenu, first son of Louis Carter Group Chairman, and Onyinye Chukwuma, daughter of Innoson motors CEO, will be having their white wedding this Saturday .

Their all-white pre-wedding dinner is currently holding at the Oriental Hotel in Lagos, and Genevieve Nnaji is one of the guests. She is a friend of the family.

Emeka and Onyinye had their traditional wedding back in April.

Koye Olu-Ibukun has been named as the diplomat who, after making contact with the Liberian diplomat Sawyer, went away secretly to Port Harcourt and was treated by Ike Enemuo, a doctor from Sam Steel Hospital on East-West Road. Olu-Ibukun then returned to Lagos cleared of the virus.

The ECOWAS staff was reportedly attended to at his hotel, MANDATE HOTEL. The hotel is close to Obio Akpor Secretariatat and the police station at Rumuodomanya (near Rumuokoro).

Apparently Enemuo was aware that Kuye was infected and even tried to decontaminate the place after treatment. However, the hotel has been closed down now.

The two male lions, who are actually brothers, were captured on camera by Laurent Renaud and Dominique Haution, who are French seasoned safari photographers.

"When lions want to overtake a pride, the old lions fight with the new ones. But seeing two lion brothers fighting, one against the other is a very rare sighting. We were very lucky to witness it, and both lions unfortunately ended up with serious wounds. But that's just what happens in the wild and we would never interfere with nature." Laurent said

A year after inheriting his father's estate, 38 year old Udensi Ifegwu Udensi Jnr, the first son of the former chairman of the now defunct Citizens bank, Lord Dike Udensi (pictured above) has died. He died few weeks ago at a specialist hospital in Umuahia, Abia state after suffering complications from a sudden undisclosed illness.

According to reports by City People, Udensi Jnr had been battling with some of his siblings as well as his father's second wife, Joy Udensi, over the control of his father's estate. The father had reportedly left his estate in his first son's care. Continue...

The remains of Late Prof. Dora Akunyili at Madonna Catholic Church Agulu in Anambra state on Thursday

The late former Minister of Information, Prof. Dora Akunyili, was buried on Thursday in Agulu, Aniocha local government area of Anambra State.

Akunyili, who died on June 7, was interred at exactly 2.15pm in the family compound.

The Madonna’s Catholic Church venue of the service was filled to the brim with people outside the church outnumbering those inside the premises.

The church which wore a new look for the event had not witness event of this magnitude in the last six years, according to one of the church priests.

Nigeria has confirmed its first Ebola death outside Lagos – a doctor in the oil hub of Port Harcourt.

A further 70 people are under surveillance in the city, while his wife has been put under quarantine.

The doctor had treated a patient, who later recovered, who had met Patrick Sawyer, the man who took Ebola from Liberia to Nigeria.

Health minister Onyebuchi Chukwu said the medic died on August 22 after treating a patient who had contact with a Liberian-American man, who brought the virus into Nigeria and died in a Lagos hospital on July 25.

Usman earns just N20,000 monthly but that did not tempt him to keep the money. He said:

Breaking: Nigeria Records New Ebola Death In Port Harcourt

A doctor, who secretly treated a diplomat who had contact with the index case, Liberian-American Patrick Sawyer, has died of Ebola in Nigeria.

The doctor, who has yet to be named, died on Friday. His wife has also taken ill and has been quarantined in Port Harcourt. Interestingly, the diplomat the doctor treated is still alive.

Cameroon says its military has killed some 30 suspected Boko Haram militants who attacked areas where 480 Nigerian troops had crossed over during a battle with the insurgents. Nigeria said the troops crossed over while making a tactical maneuver.

Cameroon's state radio reports government troops beat back two attempts by suspected Boko Haram militants to enter the country's northern territory through a locality that shares a boundary with Nigeria's Borno state, stronghold of the militant group.

During a confrontation Tuesday, the soldiers killed 11 insurgents while 16 more were killed in an earlier attack on Monday.
