As a youth group, we aver that the long suffering but highly courageous people of Adamawa are the biggest winners and beneficiaries of this development that has been long overdue.
The emergence of Mallam Nuhu Ribadu as a potential candidate of the forth coming elections in Adamawa State is in line with the unshakable custom of the Peoples Democratic Party that demands that only the best is fit to lead.
Mallam Nuhu Rebates entry into the party in Adamawa state that is star studded with the likes of Brig. Gen. Mohammed Buba Marwa, Markus Gindiri, Auwal Tukur, Dr. Idi Hong and Boni Haruna is another proof that the Peoples' Democratic Party remains the only political party that has a nationalist outlook and has the interest of every Nigerian at heart, tribe and/or religion notwithstanding.
As the gubernatorial primaries approach, we urge the national leadership of the Peoples' Democratic Party to learn from the mistakes of the hell bound Nigerian Umkhonto we Sizwe - The All Progressives' Congress and take steps to ensure that a level playing ground is provided as a way of assuring every party member that our commitment to internal democracy is not negotiable.
From Numan to Jimeta. From Yola to Mayo Belwa up till Koma, Adamawa state is on a right path to economic, social and political recovery.
With the Peoples' Democratic Party sure to win the forth coming elections, there sure will be a paradigm shift from an entrenched but remarkably faulty tradition of addressing less important issues of governance to addressing the most important issues in the interest of Adamawa people.
Once again, Adamawa State will be for Adamawa people.
