Fans of Nigerian comedian Basketmouth have made their discontent known following his decision to headline a GTbank sponsored concert in London, England alongside Olamide and Wizkid on February 14, 2015, a day that falls on the date Nigerians will troop out to vote and elect the next president of the country.
While commenting on the photos of the event which Basketmouth uploaded on Instagram, one of his followers said: ‘See who should be our role model, running abroad for a show on a day that the country need them more. Nonsense’.
Another fan said, ‘you guys are not patriotic by honouring a show abroad on the day we all supposed to change the future of our country. Money is not everything o.’
As if opening a floodgate of abusive comments, more followers of the comedian have attacked him for what they regard as his insensitivity and lack of patriotism in the Nigeria project. See more comments below… mouth3 mouth2 mouth1 mouth...
