President Jonathan Arrives Otuoke For His Daughter's Traditional Marriage Taking Place Tomorrow

President Goodluck Jonathan on Friday, January 2 arrived Otuoke, his country home in the Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

While in the State, President Jonathan will attend the traditional marriage of his daughter, which is slated for tomorrow (Saturday) in Yenagoa.


Bayelsa State Governor, Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson, his wife Rachel, Deputy Governor, Gboribiogha John Jonah, top government functionaries, Chairman of the State Traditional Rulers’ Council, King Alfred Diete-Spiff, Traditional rulers and Chiefs as well as women and youth groups mobilized by the state government from various Local Government Areas were on hand to accord the President and his entourage a rousing reception.

All ready, feelers from Otuoke indicates that the bride paying ceremony is going on at the moment with the official ceremony taking place tomorrow
