The day old baby girl, whose picture you will see after the cut, was yesterday abandoned at a road construction site in the Ikorodu roundabout, Lagos.
According to eye witnesses, the baby, with placenta and fresh blood, whose body was wrapped in a lace material, may have been delivered by an unknown woman during the early hours of the day, and dumped by the road side.
Passers-by who gathered to catch a glimpse of the lifeless body of the baby gave diverse accounts of the
incidence.
While some said the baby was discovered alive but died before help could come, others maintained that the baby was already dead by the time it was discovered at day break.
Oh shit! I hate reading such. Makes my tummy cringe. There are women out there struggling to conceive and someone whom God has blessed decides to throw away the baby. Even if the mother could not maintain the child, it would have been better for her to take the child to an orphanage or a church and voluntarily give out the child for adoption. This is bad. Just too bad.
