Placard carrying workers in the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) today poured out in thousands to demand a better welfare package from the management of the ministry. The workers barricaded the entrance gate with placards and demanded for the removal of the FCT minister, Sen. Bala Mohammed.
Part of their grievances is that they are being owed allowances, backlog of promotions and poor working conditions. The permanent secretary of the FCT, Engr. John Chukwu who came to address the crowd was shouted down by the grieving workers.
