Man Headbutted By Ram He Was About To Slaughter

A 2-year-old ram that was headed for slaughter on Thursday, turns the tables on the butcher and head butted him sending him to the hospital.

Dayton fire officials say they were called to Ben’s Meat Processing Company, located at 13885 SE Amity-Dayton Highway, and found 49-year-old Kelly Duval lying on the ground with serious head injuries.

The meat processing company owner said he heard Duval yelling and rushed outside. He found him lying on the ground with severe injuries to his face and called 911.

Duval was flown to Oregon Health and Science University, where he is listed in serious condition and is also being treated for back and neck pains.

 Ben Montelongo, who owns the meat processing company and is a long-time friend of Mr Duval, said he felt terrible about what happened.

He told KOIN6 that he found his friend lying on the ground with injuries to his face and called emergency services.

Mr Duval is currently in a serious condition in hospital at Oregon Health and Science University, where he is being treated for back and neck pains.
