This is full juicy gist as reported by Encomium Magazine.

Billionaire  businessman, Sir Emeka Offor has fixed Friday, January 3, 2014, for his wedding with new wife, Adaora.  Sources revealed to ENCOMIUM Weekly that  the marriage is scheduled to hold in Nnewi, the second largest city in Anambra State.

Already, high society has gone abuzz with the marriage as the high and mighty have started warming up to storm Nnewi for the jamboree.

Sources close to the man of means revealed to ENCOMIUM Weekly that a budget of over N100 million is on ground for the wedding.  We were reliably informed that the event planner has been briefed and fees paid to go ahead with sourcing for vendors for the ceremony.  Popular events manager, Victoria F won the bid.  Mrs. Victoria Folarin, head honcho of the event planning outfit has gone to town contacting all those needed for the wedding.

Artistes shortlisted to perform at the event include P-Square and Flavour N’Abania.  The bride, Adaora specifically requested for the inclusion of Banky W in the entertainer’s list.  A source disclosed that with the way the planning is going, the Emeka Offor/Adaora January 3, 2014 wedding will set the tone for the 2014 social calendar.

As a friend of the first family in Nigeria, it is expected President Jonathan and wife, Dame Patience Jonathan will lead other prominent people to the wedding.

Sir Emeka Offor and Adaora had their traditional marriage on October 12, 2013, at the residence of the father of the bride, in Oraifite, Ekwusigo local government, Anambra State. It was a ceremony where Sir Offor showed his spending capability.  Adaora is the daughter of Mr. Alexander Okey Ofondu, a wealthy Onitsha trader.

The wedding has been generating discourse in that part of the country.  Sir Emeka, who is said to have two other wives, is taking Adaora as his third and that may spark a lot of debate among Catholics where both parties belong.  Others, however, reckon that since his other two marriages are not done the Catholic way, it may not be recognized as legal.

Sir Emeka Offor’s eldest child, Ndidi is 30 while his first son, Chuka is 28.

The businessman controls a large business empire which spans power, oil and gas and other areas of the economy.
