Oba Dr. Adedapo Adewale Tejuoso Karounwi is one of the prominent and respected Ogun Monarch.The Osinle is not respected only because he is well read or because he was a Medical Doctor and a respected businessman before he became king but his name brings pictures of royalty, glamour, and prestige to your mind. He was once described by his friend of over 45 years Evangelist Ebenezer Obey as a No nonsense and displinarian. Kabiyesi himself in an interview in grated “Sunnewsonline“ on his 76TH BIRTHDAY where he spoke not being pampered as an only son. He explained that “ I didn’t live with my parents for long. At eight years old, I left them in Zaria. At age 13, I was in boarding school and thereafter, I lived with Mrs. Onatolu, wife of a bishop and my parents came home once in a while. We went on holidays twice a year inJune and December. So, there was no opportunity for me to be spoilt. I didn’t allow myself to be spoilt or pampered either. When I finished secondary school, I stayed with my uncle and worked as a senior health officer at Kakawa in Lagos. Subsequently, I attended medical school in England and qualified. I have beenkabiyesi for 25 years now.“
Titi is the first daughter of Oba Adedapo Tejuoso. She is one of the daughters of Kabiyesi first marriage to Mrs Bimpe. Not many will forget the popular lyrics of “If Bimpe Marry Dapo “. That evergreen music of Ebenezer Obey which he use to praise Oba Adedapo Tejusoso to high heaven. She is happily married with kids. Senator Lanre Tejuoso needs no introduction. Aside serving in Governor Amosun government as a Commissioner in his first term as Ogun Governor, he is one of the young medical Doctor Nigeria as ever produced. He became a medical Doctor at the young age of 21.He is married to the beautiful and ageless first daughter of Okoya Dynasty, Moji Okoya and they are blessed with many children. Ebony black Prince Kayode Tejuoso is Kabiyesi third child and second son. He is a business man of note just like his father. He is also married to one of the daughter of renowned Nigeria Professor, Hon Funmi Tejuoso who use to be one of the honourable members of Lagos house of assembly representing Mushin.
Bimpe is one of Kabiyesi Daughter who does business. She run one of the striving business empire in Lagos and this is unlike Prince Wole, Kabiye who happened to one of Kabiyesi son`s who lives in Unites Kingdom. He runs all his business in United Kingdom. Prince Femi Tejuoso works in one ofKabiyesi business conglomerate. Femi is the Executive Director of Teju Foam industries Limited. He is married to Ope Tejuoso, the daughter of Former Military Governor of Lagos state, Late Commodore Gbolahan . Prince Kunle Tejuoso is late. He died few years ago but he was married toBunmi who born him children. Tutu , Sade , Bosoye and Boyede are all Kabiyesi Daughters. Tutuis married to Ladipo Alliu while Princess Sade is married to Lolu Adebowale and Princess Bosoye is married to Idowu Ogunkanmi.
Just like her sisters, Boyede is also happily married to Demola Adebanjo. Prince Bolaji Tejuoso is one of Kabiyesi Son. He is the Elder brother of Prince Koye Tejuoso and Dayo Tejuoso. Adedayo is married to Nike. Damola is also one of Kabiyesi son.Damola younger brother Tunji is married to Princess Banke which works in one of the branches Central Bank of Nigeria. Their younger brother Prince Gbadebo works with one of Nigeria leading insurance bank called Massard Insurance. The last of the 12 sons is of Prince Bayo who is married to Dupe.
Princess Kemi is also one of Kabiyesi 12 daughters. Just like the male counterpart who is doing great in their chosen Career, she is also a succeful young babe. She is the Elder sister of another Tejuos`s princess like Abisoye, Oluwatoyin, Layebi, Ranti , and Bisola. Calm but friendly Oluwatoyin is married to Femi Thomax. Oluwa Toyin is one of the Lagos big babe who works with Lagos Internal Revenue (LIRS) while Layebi is a banker with Fist Bank. Princess Bisola is a successful business woman who is happily married. Princess Bisola is Kabiyesi Last child and she just finished service and will be pursuing her masters soon.
