Davido’s billionaire dad, Chief Adeleke was at the ceremony to witness the Skelewu singer’s graduation. Also at the event was the Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and several others.
At the graduation ceremony, the Vice Chancellor of the university, J. A. Kayode Makinde, advised the graduands saying, “You are now in the half way. May your graduation from school be the beginning of a bright future for you. Best Wishes for a wonderful college years. You will make mistakes and be wounded sometimes in your life. Don’t give in – it’s just an experience. Wishing you to find your own star and reach for it.”
Davido is yet to say a word on his graduation but he tweeted this a few hours ago: “Congrats too (sic) all the Babcock graduates today!”
Media entrepreneur, Mo Abudu, was recognised with an honorary doctorate degree.
