Stoke City striker Osaze Odemwingie has pleaded with the national team handlers not to play him in the Eagles problematic play-making role a close source in the team has revealed .
The former West Brom and Cardiff City forward is yet to rediscover his club form (six goals in 15 league appearances for Stoke) for the African champions and he has been largely lethargic since making his return to national team has suggested he will redeem his image by playing from the flanks.
