The University of Warwick Rowing Society has been banned from Facebook after its nude charity calendar was branded as pornography.
The students boldly rocked their ‘birthday suits’ in cheeky photoshoot and sold 1,500 of their 2014 calendars, raising thousands of pounds for charity.
And despite the cash-strapped students managing to raise an incredible £3,400 for Macmillan Cancer Support by drumming up advertising on social media sites, they were caught in the net of Facebook’s notorious censorship policy.
After the page was removed, the society took to Twitter to publicise their cause and found support from all walks of life.
So my dear faithful readers, does this fall under pornography and was Facebook right to remove the page? Let’s have your views.
