15 year-old Nigerian footballer stabbed to death in England

Pictured above is Joel Adesina, the 15-year-old Nigerian stabbed to death in London on Friday Dec 5. He was found on Bethnal Green Road in East London at about 23:00 GMT knifed in the abdomen. He was taken to the hospital but he died several hours later.

According to police report, Joel was walking with friends when they were confronted by a group in a parked car. The group was pursued into a housing estate where Joel was cornered and stabbed.

Police were called by London Ambulance Service to Bethnal Green Road, E2, at 23:04hrs on Friday, 5 December. Officers attended and found a 15-year-old boy suffering from serious stab injuries to the abdomen. The boy was taken by London Ambulance Service to an east London hospital. He died in hospital at 02:12hrs on Saturday, 6 December,’ a Scotland Yard spokesperson said:

Joel lives in Dagenham with his parents. He is still in High School and a footballer. police are currently hunting for his killers.
