Rumors have been circulating on the Internet that one of Mr. Buhari’s
daughters is married to a man who hails from Anambra State, and had
converted to Christianity but emerging development have shown that the information is false and not true |

Social Media Warrior And Commentator, Ifeyinwa Onyeabo was the first to sound the alarm yesterday that the news of Amina Buhari marrying one Godwin Udie from Anambra state is false and propaganda
From the report on her Facebook Wall,
"In the first picture is General Buhari and his four daughters from his 1st wife Late Safinatu: Late Zulaiha, Fatima, Hadizatu and Safinatu Lami. They were all married to Northerners.
Zulaiha Magajiya Abdullahi (Nee Buhari) was married to Captain Junaid Abdullahi. She is dead, she was the first daughter.
Fatima the second daughter is married to Bello Waziri Gwandu. They got married in 2003.
Hadizatu Nana, the third daughter married Abdulrahaman Mamman Kurfi in 2008.
Safinatu Lami (named after her mom, Buhari's first wife Safinatu) is the fourth daughter and she got married in 2010 to another Northerner.
The second picture shows Mrs. Aisha Buhari and her four children: Halima, Zarah, Yusuf (the only son) and Aisha.
Halima is Buhari's fifth daughter and she is married to Mohammed Sheriff.
Zarah Buhari and Aisha Buhari (the last child) are both unmarried.
Anambra people, unless you guys have started doing child-bride, you have to come out and tell us who this Anambra man, Col. Goddy is who is purported to be married to the teenage daughter of Gen. Buhari, Aisha"

Halima Buhari And Husband |
Confirming Ifeyinwa's report this after noon, SaharaReporters has confirmed that no biological daughter of Muhammad
Buhari, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress
(APC) is married to a man from Anambra State or any of the southeast
states.
Two close members of the
presidential candidate’s family told a correspondent of SaharaReporters
that the rumors are false.
“Buhari has never claimed that any of
his daughters was married to an Anambra man,” one of the two family
sources said. The source added, however, that Mr. Buhari, a former
military head of state, had raised or helped raise numerous
children from members of his extended family. He said that some of those
Mr. Buhari helped to raise had grown up and taken spouses from
different parts of Nigeria. See more of Buhari's family picture below
