Photos: Pregnant Women Rescued From Baby Factory In Abia

 It was on the news this  week that over 20 pregnant women were rescued from a Baby Factory at Umunkpeyi in Isiala Ngwa South LGA Abia State  following a tip off.  

Parading the rescued women and some of the workers in the baby factory, the state commandant of NSCDC, Andy Dateer, said the baby factory is named Nma Charity and Motherless Babies’ Home,  and that the owner who is now at-large, brings in men to impregnate the girls. He said after delivery, the babies are sold, and the mothers paid peanuts.

He said three children under the age of two, who were being prepared for sale, were rescued while four ‘social workers’ and four men were arrested in the raid.
