The first executive Governor of Bayelsa State,Diepreye Solomon Peter Alamieyeseigha is dead.
Alameiseigha reportedly died after he was rushed to the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH) in Rivers State.Family sources claimed that the former governor suddenly fell ill in his hometown in Ammassoma township of Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa and was rushed to Port Harcourt.
D.S.P Alameisegha, who was popularly known as "Governor-General of Ijaw Nation is aged 62.
