Davido Is Also Making His Nollywood Acting Debut! Set To Star & Co Produce Nollywood Movie “John Zerebe”

A lot of popstars tend to try their hands at acting, we’ve seen Janet Jackson, Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson do it. Coming closer to home Tiwa Savage and recently Sean Tizzle have forayed into acting and now you can add Davido to that list!

The 22 year old is making his first foray into acting with a Nollywood movie called, “John Zerebe”.

The movie is jointly produced by HKN and directed by Ikey Ojeogwu who says he is Davido’s cousin.

The new movie, jointly produced by HKN and Viral Entertainment, stars Gloria Young, Ikey Ojeogwu, Kanfui Danku, Emma Blaq, Mimi Orjiekwe among others....

In an interview with NET he spoke on Davido making his acting debut in his movie and his relationship with the MTV MAMA award winner.

John as we all know is a name in itself while Zerebe is a word which makes reference to one who does things contrary to the norm. In John’s case, his father was a pastor but his lust for wealth and desires in life form a sharp contrast to the holy concept bellowed by his father from the pulpit every Sunday and it forms the pivot upon which the plot of the movie unfolds.
