Market Shut In Anambra As Protest Rocks Onitsha Over Alleged Plan To Transfer Boko Haram Prisoners To Awka

 



Markets in Anambra state were shut today over the plans by the state Government to impose tax on the traders 

According to my source in Onitsha, Governor Obiano had a meeting with the traders where he uneveield his tax plans to the traders which includes 18,000 Naira tax levy to be paid by  each trader In Anambra 

The traders were uncomfortable with the plan decided to shut their markets today in order to pass a message to the government that they are uncomfortable with his tax plan 

How ever mischief makers went to town this morning with the wicked rumor of plans already approved by the federal government to transfer Boko Haram prisoners to the state 

The commercial city of Onitsha and Awka is currently experincing protests by aggrieved residents protesting the alleged plans to transfer Boko Haram Prisoners to Awka the state capital
