Though the officer identified as Lawrence has been arrested by the police, the students who took their protest to the office of the state Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development at Oke-Mosan claimed that Lawrence had canal knowledge of the student without her consent.

The victim who was said to have gone for “group reading” in preparation for the second semester examinations somewhere around Onikolobo area, was said to have been accosted by Lawrence at about 10pm on Monday night at Alewenu Village where he assaulted her.
