Participants at the I C - Cube Youth Conference tagged “Winning in business and career” which held at the massive Alfred Martins Hall at St. Leo’s Catholic Church, Ikeja were inspired to live their dreams and be the best they can be by one who can be said to be the newest entry in the Nigeria Music Industry, Socrates Uduk, who sang live his rnb inspirational song, “I wanna be me”.
The event had in attendance Prof. Pat Utomi the Founder, Centre for Values in Leadership, who wasn’t available in person but sent a representative as well as members of his Centre for Values in Leadership team, it also had in attendance Special Adviser for youths and social development of Lagos State, it also had the Chairman, Philips Consulting, Foluso Philips, Chairman, Juli Plc, Julius Adelusi-Adeluyi and a host of other big names as well as a large number of youths.

Socrates sang with two backup singers and after the bridge of the song, he was joined by four dancers who danced in unison with him and at the end of the song, he gave a very long sustain which led to an applause and thereafter, he fell backwards like a palm tree at the up edge of the third step of the stage he stood, he was caught by his dancers on the air and carried like a log of wood off stage. This stunt was highly applauded to.

Before he began singing, his profile was projected for the audience and it was read aloud by the MC while he stood facing the audience, as he started singing, the lyrics of his song was projected by a projector in a video so the audience could read the lyrics of his song.

One thing that was undeniably astonishing was his larger-than-life costume which was similar to that usually worn by the pop legend; Michael Jackson of blessed memory, his costume had a large amount of golden chains, assorted golden buttons and a golden hand glove he wore at his left hand. His shoes were also designed with golden chains.

Dupped “Madonna University Shakira ”, singer- songwriter Socrates Uduk was born in Akwa-Ibom State, Nigeria in 8th June 1987. As a child, he had an intense passion for dancing and he went to become the most famous solo dancer in Madonna University of all times.
