Ade Ipaye
A former Special Assistant on Legal Matters to the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, Ade Ipaye may anytime from now be named as President Muhammadu Buhari’s Deputy Chief of Staff, reports NewsDay

Ipaye served Tinubu when he was the governor of Lagos State.

Ipaye would, however, be assigned to the office of the Vice President as Prof Yemi Osinbajo’s Chief of Staff.

The deployment of Ipaye to the office of the VP follows Buhari’s resolve to operate a single presidency with only one Chief of Staff who would oversee the President’s affairs and a Deputy Chief of Staff who would oversee the duties of the Vice President.

Ipaye has already been briefed of the new development while awaiting official announcement.

Already, Ipaye, has been acting as the unofficial chief of staff to the vice president and has stood in for the vepee in so many official events according to investigation done by  Cchukwudi Iwuchukwu;s Blog (CIB)

Ipaye was in Bayelsa during the second edition of the Bayelsa State Investment and Economic Forum with the theme, “Unfolding Bayelsa State’s Industrial future,” where he represented Prof Osibanjo and even officially opened the conference on behalf of the vice-president

Both Osinbajo and Ipaye have come a long way from the University of Lagos as lecturers and when the VP was the Attorney General for Lagos state.

Ipaye was Osinbajo’s Special Assistant when the VP was Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General in Lagos State in the Tinubu administration.
